Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 1 - fully cooked ham 6-8 pounds
- 1/2 cups - pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cups - brown sugar
- 1/2 cups - apple juice
- 1 tablespoons - Dijon or brown mustard
- dashes - cinnamon and ginger or allspice optional
Directions:
Place ham, fat side up, on rack in a foil-lined roasting pan; score fat and stud with cloves (if desired).
Cook at 325 degrees F for about 18 minutes per pound, until meat thermometer registers 148 degrees F.
While ham is cooking, combine glaze ingredients in saucepan; bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes (be careful not to let it boil over).
About 20 minutes before ham is finished, spoon about half the glaze over the top of the ham; then about 10 minutes later, spread remaining glaze over ham, allowing to cook for remaining 10 minutes.
