Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 1 - 12 oz. can Light Tuna (in water) Drained and Flaked
- 2 cups - Fresh or Frozen Sweet Peas (NOT canned!) (Can use 10 oz. steam in bag peas)
- 1 - 10 oz Bird's Eye Long Grain White Rice Steamfresh
- 1 - 10.75 oz. can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 4 - Hard Boiled Eggs Peeled and Diced
- 1 - 8 oz Bag Finely Shredded New York Extra Sharp Cheese
- 2/3 cups - Milk
- 3 tablespoons - Butter
- 1 teaspoons - Lemon Juice (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoons - Salt (or to taste)
Directions:
Microwave the rice in its bag for 90 seconds (or follow instructions on the steam in bag). When cooked, fluff with a fork, so it doesn't form clumps.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine all ingredients (except cheese). Make sure to drain off water and flake the tuna. Stir until mixed well. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes. Stir again and cover with cheese. Cover and return to microwave. Heat 3 minutes more on high.
Instructions for 700 watt microwave. Adjust accordingly.
