Little or Lot of Chili

Ingredients:

  1. 1 - onion, medium chopped
  2. 1 pounds - ground round or chuck
  3. 1 cloves - garlic minced
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - oregano
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - cumin
  6. 1 tablespoons - chili powder
  7. 1 cups - hot water
  8. - salt to taste

Directions:

In a heavy skillet or dutch oven, saute meat, onions and garlic. Add spices, water and salt to taste. Bring to a boil; lower heat and simmer at least 1 hour. Skim off the fat. A dash of hot pepper sauce may be added during the cooking.
