Ingredients:

  1. Brisket
  2. 4 pounds - beef brisket
  3. 1 teaspoons - salt
  4. 1 teaspoons - pepper
  5. 1 teaspoons - garlic powder
  6. 1 teaspoons - paprika (I use hot Hungarian Paprika)
  7. 1 teaspoons - dried parsley
  8. 2 teaspoons - liquid smoke
  9. Sauce
  10. 14 ounces - ketchup
  11. 3/4 cups - chili sauce
  12. - pepper, to taste
  13. 1/2 cups - A1 Sauce
  14. 2 tablespoons - Worcestershire sauce
  15. 2 dashes - Tabasco sauce
  16. 1/4 cups - red wine vinegar
  17. 1 cloves - garlic
  18. 1/4 cups - prepared mustard
  19. 1 tablespoons - soy sauce
  20. 3/4 cups - brown sugar

Directions:

Rub spices into the brisket and add liquid smoke; wrap in heavy aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight.

Make the Sauce by combining all sauce ingredients in a saucepan, and simmering for 30 minutes.

Bake at 300 degrees F for 1-1/2 hours. Then bake at 250 degrees F for 5-1/2 hours. Open foil for the last hour, and add 1/2 of the sauce made previously.

Remove the brisket from the oven; wrap tightly. Refrigerate for 24 hours.

Slice VERY thin; place in a baking dish. Cover with remaining sauce.

Warm at 200 degrees F for one hour. Serve!!
