Linguine with Shrimp

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cups - sliced shallots
  2. 2 tablespoons - olive oil
  3. 1 cans - diced tomatoes (14.5 oz. can)
  4. 1 teaspoons - chopped garlic
  5. 1 tablespoons - chopped fresh basil
  6. 1/3 cups - heavy cream
  7. 1/2 pounds - cooked shrimp
  8. 1/8 teaspoons - cayenne pepper
  9. 6 ounces - linguine cooked, hot
  10. 1/3 cups - julienned basil leaves

Directions:

Saute shallots; add tomatoes, garlic and basil. Simmer.

Add cream; thicken. Add cayenne and shrimp.

Toss with cooked pasta. Serve hot.
