Ingredients:
- 15 - extra large fresh lemons with thick skin
- 800 grams - sugar
- 15 - extra large fresh lemons with thick skin
- 800 grams - sugar
Directions:
To make 1 liter = 1,000 mL, you need 15 lemons.
You should use the potato peeler so you do not get the pith. Remove all the skins and put inside a large jar (big pickle jar from the cafeteria works best); lid must screw on tight.
Stir and tighten lid; put in a dark place. Keep 5-6 days. Strain.
Measure 1 liter water and pour over skins to wash; reserve water and almost boil.
Turn on low, add sugar, and stir until sugar dissolves.
Cool; mix the grain and the sweet water. Use a funnel and paper towels to strain into bottles. Cork. Store in freezer.
