Lemon Thyme Hummus

Ingredients:

  1. 8 cups - canned chickpeas
  2. 8 cloves - garlic peeled
  3. 3 teaspoons - salt
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - pepper
  5. 1/2 cups - tahini (sesame paste)
  6. - juice of 5 lemons
  7. 5 tablespoons - chickpea liquid
  8. 5 dashes - hot sauce
  9. 1 tablespoons - chopped fresh thyme
  10. 1 teaspoons - olive oil

Directions:

Drain chickpeas and reserve five tablespoons of liquid in separate bowl. Set aside.

Place garlic cloves in food processor and pulse until minced.

Add in all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Add more salt and pepper if needed.

Pour hummus into your temp-tations 2 quart bowl and sprinkle with fresh thyme and olive oil.

Serve with pita bread, crackers or veggies.
