Ingredients:
- 1 cups - all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cups - butter
- 1/4 cups - powdered sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cups - granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoons - salt
- 2 tablespoons - fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons - flour
Directions:
For crust, mix together flour, butter and powdered sugar thoroughly. Press into ungreased 8-x-8-inch pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees F.
For filling, beat together eggs, sugar, baking powder, salt, lemon juice and flour for about 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Pour over hot crust.
Bake for 25 minutes longer or just until no imprint remains when touched lightly in center. Cool; sprinkle with powdered sugar, and cut into 24 squares.
Store covered in cool place for up to 3 weeks.
