Lemon Parsley Carrots

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - carrots sliced
  2. 2 tablespoons - water
  3. 2 teaspoons - butter
  4. 1 tablespoons - sugar
  5. 1 tablespoons - chopped parsley
  6. 1/2 teaspoons - lemon zest
  7. 2 teaspoons - lemon juice
  8. 1/4 teaspoons - salt

Directions:

Place carrots and water in 2-quart covered casserole. Microwave on High for 8 to 9 minutes, stirring once after 5 minutes.

Drain. Stir in remaining ingredients and microwave (covered) on High for 1 or 2 minutes.
