Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons - butter
- 3/4 cups - sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons - grated lemon peel
- 2 cups - flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 3/4 cups - milk
- 1/2 cups - walnuts chopped
- 2 teaspoons - lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons - sugar
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and lemon peel and mix.
Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Stir in walnuts.
Bake in loaf pan at 350 degrees F for 50-55 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan and finish cooling.
Combine lemon juice and sugar for glaze.
Store overnight.
