Killer Shrimp

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 pounds - unsalted butter plus 2 tablespoons
  2. 1 1/2 teaspoons - minced garlic
  3. 1 teaspoons - Worcestershire sauce
  4. 1 teaspoons - fresh lemon juice
  5. 1 teaspoons - cayenne pepper
  6. 1 teaspoons - black pepper
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  8. 1/4 teaspoons - crushed red pepper
  9. 1/2 teaspoons - dried rosemary
  10. 1/2 teaspoons - dried thyme
  11. 1/8 teaspoons - dried oregano
  12. 1/2 cups - shrimp stock (or substitute chicken stock)
  13. 1/4 cups - beer at room temperature
  14. 1 pounds - raw shelled or unshelled shrimp

Directions:

Combine 1/4 pound butter with garlic, Worcestershire, lemon juice and herbs in a large skillet over high heat. When butter melts (be careful not to brown or burn), add shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add remaining 2 tablespoons butter along with stock. Shake pan (Do Not Stir) for two minutes. Add beer and cook for one minute more.

Serve with lots of French bread for dipping.
