    My dad grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, so we take Mexican food very seriously. Guacamole is one of the things that disappears quickly, and causes quite a few fights. "Who ate all the Guac!? I didn't even get any!!" "You better save me some!" My personal suggestion: Pair this recipe with the New Mexico Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas that Mark Mueller (my dad) contributed.

Ingredients:

  1. 3 - ripe avocados
  2. 1/4 cups - sour cream
  3. 1/2 cups - salsa (such as Joe T's Medium Salsa)
  4. 1/4 teaspoons - garlic powder
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - chili powder
  6. 3/4 tablespoons - fresh lime juice (squeeze 1/2 of a fresh lime)

Directions:

Remove insides of avocado and mash in a bowl until only small chunks remain.

Add sour cream and salsa and mix together well. Add garlic powder and chili powder, mixing until combined.

Add lime juice and mix together.

Enjoy with tortilla chips or on top of any of your favorite Mexican dishes!
