Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups - butter
- 1 - egg
- 1 cups - sugar
- 2 tablespoons - milk
- 2 teaspoons - almond extract
- 3 1/2 cups - flour
- 1 teaspoons - baking powder
- - food coloring optional
- - colored sprinkles optional
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Cream butter and sugar together.
3. Add egg, milk, almond extract, and mix well.
4. Stir together flour & baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture. Add 1-3 drops of food coloring, if you want them to be colored.
5. DO NOT CHILL
6. Place dough inside cookie press (Christmas tree press) and press onto cookie sheet, enough to fill the sheet - can add sprinkles on top at this point for decor.
7. Bake 10-12 minutes until lightly browned around edges (I usually check them at 9 minutes).
8. Cool on rack.
