Jamaican Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cups - Apple-cider vinegar
  2. 3 tablespoons - Worcestershire sauce
  3. 4 teaspoons - Lemon juice
  4. 2 teaspoons - Brown sugar
  5. 1 tablespoons - prepared yellow mustard
  6. 1 tablespoons - liquid smoke
  7. 1 teaspoons - garlic powder
  8. 1 teaspoons - Cayenne pepper
  9. 3/4 teaspoons - Salt
  10. 1/2 teaspoons - Flavor enhancer *See note below
  11. 1 cups - Ketchup
  12. 1/2 cups - Tomato puree

Directions:

Mix all of the ingredients together. A blender may be used but be sure to dissolve all the brown sugar. Put sauce inot a clear container with a tightfitting lid - a clear mayo or spaghetti-sauce jar is perfect.

This sauce needs to be stored in the refrigerator or used immediately.
