Italian Orzo Soup

Ingredients:

  1. 1 packages - Chicken Italian sausage Cooked/Sliced
  2. 1 cartons - Chicken Stock
  3. 1 teaspoons - Better Than Bouillon garlic
  4. 1 cups - Spaghetti sauce
  5. 1/2 cups - Orzo
  6. 2 tablespoons - Butter
  7. 1 whole - Onion small/chopped
  8. 1 1/4 cups - yellow and red peppers chopped
  9. 2 cloves - Garlic Chopped
  10. 1/2 teaspoons - oregano & basil each
  11. 1/8 teaspoons - Red pepper flake, salt, pepper To taste

  14. 1 teaspoons - Better Than Bouillon garlic
  15. 1 cups - Spaghetti sauce
  16. 1/2 cups - Orzo
  17. 2 tablespoons - Butter
  18. 1 whole - Onion small/chopped
  19. 1 1/4 cups - yellow and red peppers chopped
  20. 2 cloves - Garlic Chopped
  21. 1/2 teaspoons - oregano & basil each
  22. 1/8 teaspoons - Red pepper flake, salt, pepper To taste

Directions:

Cook sausage, set aside to cool. Chop vegetables. In a stock pot, melt butter add onions and peppers, cook until tender then add garlic. Cook 2-3 minutes. Add all spices, spaghetti sauce, bouillon and broth. Bring to boil. Add Orzo, turn down heat to simmer. Slice sausage and add to soup. Add additional salt & pepper flakes to taste.Ladle into serving bowls, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired and serve with crusty italian bread.
