Italian Beef Macaroni

Ingredients:

  1. 1 tablespoons - oil
  2. 2 - onions, chopped
  3. 1 cloves - garlic
  4. 1 pounds - ground beef
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - dried oregano
  6. 1/2 teaspoons - basil
  7. 2 teaspoons - paprika
  8. 4 ounces - cheddar cheese, grated
  9. 6 ounces - macaroni, cooked and drained
  10. 14 ounces - canned tomatoes
  11. 2 tablespoons - tomato puree
  12. 1 cubes - beef stock

Directions:

Heat oil in saucepan. Add the onions and garlic. Cook slowly for 5 minutes or until soft.

Add beef to the pan, stirring until no longer pink. Stir in the oregano, basil, tomatoes with the juice, tomato puree, paprika and beef stock cube.

Simmer for about 10 minutes, then toss in a couple of handfuls of the cheese and stir.

Mix in the cooked macaroni, stir well and place in pie or casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for approximately 20 minutes.
