Instant Pot Meatballs

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 pounds - ground Italian sausage
  2. 1/2 - medium onion finely chopped
  3. 2 cloves - garlic minced
  4. 1/2 cups - Italian bread crumbs
  5. 1/2 cups - grated Parmesan
  6. 2 - eggs beaten
  7. 24 ounces - jarred pasta sauce (we like Classic Tomato and Basil)
  8. 1/2 teaspoons - each of salt and pepper

Directions:

1. In a large bowl, combine sausage, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, parmesan, egg, and seasonings. Mash together until incorporated, and form into golf-ball-sized meatballs.

2. Pour pasta sauce into pot, and layer meatballs on top of sauce.

3. Close lid and set the pot to pressure cook on high for 8 minutes. When cooking time is finished, quick release and open the pot when the steam is finished.
