Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - all-purpose flour
  2. 1 1/2 teaspoons - onion powder
  3. 1 1/2 teaspoons - garlic powder
  4. 2 teaspoons - paprika
  5. 1 teaspoons - salt
  6. 1 teaspoons - pepper
  7. 2 teaspoons - dry mustard

Directions:

In a large plastic bag, put all the ingredients. Shake, to distribute flavourings and the flour.

Drop in roast of beef and make sure every part of the roast is covered with a coating of this dry rub. Shake off any excess flour remaining. Roast as normal.

With remaining flour/flavourings mixture make a roux to be added to the residue pan juices. Add water or vegetable juices, if necessary, to make enough gravy. Use the roux mixture to thicken the pan juices.

MMMMM......delicious! Absolutely delicious.
