I always make a pan of cinnamon rolls and have two meals of rolls for Dad and I. They are just as good made two or three days before and kept covered in the refrigerator.

Ingredients:
- 1 packages - dry yeast
- 1/2 cups - lukewarm water
- 1/2 cups - shortening
- 1/2 cups - boiling water
- 1/4 cups - sugar
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 1 - beaten egg
- 3 1/4 cups - sifted flour
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
Place shortening in mixing bowl and add boiling water. When almost dissolved, add sugar and salt; then add the dissolved yeast mixture.
Add egg and mix well; then stir in flour. Sometimes it takes a little more flour.
Let rise once (for about an hour or 'til double in size) and then work out into rolls.
Place in greased pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or 'til lightly browned.
