Herbed Garlic-Parmesan Popcorn

Ingredients:

  1. 1 tablespoons - Butter
  2. 1 tablespoons - Extra-virgin olive oil
  3. 1 cloves - Lrg. clove garlic Pressed thru garlic press
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - Dried thyme
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - Dried basil
  6. - 8-10 C. popped popcorn Or 1 bag natural, unsalted microwave popcorn
  7. 3/4 cups - Parmesan cheese Finely grated - can use more if desired

Directions:

1. Place butter, olive oil and garlic in small saucepan over medium-low heat. Heat until butter melts and starts to lightly simmer. Cook while stirring w/ rubber spatula for 1-2 minutes, until garlic is softened and fragrant. Add thyme and basil and stir to combine. Remove pan from heat and set aside.

2. Prepare popcorn if you haven't already. Place popcorn in large mixing bowl. Drizzle butter mixture over popcorn while stirring w/ large spoon or spatula. Quickly toss to coat.

3. Add 3/4 C Parmesan cheese adn toss until well distributed. Top w/ additional Parmesan if desired and serve immediately.
