Herb Butter with Lemon

Ingredients:

  1. 4 tablespoons - unsalted organic butter preferably raw
  2. 1 tablespoons - parsley, fresh chopped
  3. 1 teaspoons - dill, fresh chopped
  4. 1 teaspoons - lemon juice
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - lemon zest finely grated
  6. - sea salt to taste

Directions:

Allow the butter to come to room temperature in a small bowl. Cream the butter before adding the other ingredients. Mix well so that the herbs are evenly distributed. Chill in the refrigerator until firm. Put butter pats on top of pan-fried or grilled steak just before serving. Cooked, drained green vegetables can also be tossed in lemon herb butter while they are still hot.
Additional Tips
You can also shape into a log on clear plastic wrap when you refrigerate and then slice into pats. Freeze any leftovers.
