Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups - all-purpose flour
  2. 1 cups - whole-wheat flour
  3. 3 tablespoons - sugar
  4. 1 tablespoons - baking powder
  5. 2 teaspoons - caraway seeds
  6. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - nutmeg
  8. 1/2 teaspoons - thyme
  9. 1 cups - skim milk
  10. 1/3 cups - vegetable oil
  11. 1 - egg beaten

Directions:

Combine flours, sugar, baking powder, caraway seeds, salt, nutmeg and thyme.

Combine milk, oil and egg; add to flour mixture, stirring until just moistened.

Turn into oiled 9-by-5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees 55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Remove from pan and cool on wire rack at least 30 minutes.
