Healthified Spinach & Cheese Quiche

Ingredients:

  1. 2 1/2 cups - Egg Product beaten
  2. 1 cups - Spinach chopped
  3. 1/2 cups - Fat-free half & half
  4. 1 teaspoons - Dried Thyme crushed
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - Salt
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - Ground Black Pepper
  7. 1 - Baked Pastry Crust
  8. 3 ounces - Shredded Gruyere or Swiss Cheese divided
  9. 1 - Baked Pastry Crust
  10. 3 ounces - Shredded Gruyere or Swiss Cheese divided
  11. 2 1/2 cups - Egg Product beaten
  12. 1 cups - Spinach chopped
  13. 1/2 cups - Fat-free half & half
  14. 1 teaspoons - Dried Thyme crushed
  15. 1/4 teaspoons - Salt
  16. 1/4 teaspoons - Ground Black Pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450°
Bake pastry shell and cool on wire rack
Reduce oven to 350°
In large bowl, beat together 3/4 cup cheese, egg product, spinach, half & half, thyme, salt and pepper
Pour egg mixture into baked pastry
Bake for 40 minutes
Sprinkle with reserved 2 tbsp. cheese
Bake about 10 minutes more or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean
Let stand on wire rack for 10 minutes before serving
