Nanny's Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients:

  1. 1 - Pastry shell
  2. 1 cups - Bacon cooked/shredded
  3. 2 cups - Sharp Cheddar Cheese shredded
  4. 2 cups - Swiss Cheese shredded
  5. 4 - Eggs
  6. 1 1/2 cups - Heavy Cream
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  8. 1/4 teaspoons - Ground black pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Spread bacon on bottom of pastry shell. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the cheeses. Lightly beat eggs with wire wisk. Add cream and seasonings, blend until smooth. Set pastry on cookie sheet and pour in custard mixture. Finish off with final amount of cheese.

Bake on center shelf for 45 min or until center comes out toothpick clean.
