  1. 2 - large ripe avocados peeled, seeded, cut up
  2. 2 tablespoons - finely chopped onion
  3. 1 - or 2 fresh jalapeno peppers seeded
  4. 1 cloves - or 2 cloves of garlic
  5. 2 tablespoons - lime juice
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - salt


In a blender container or food processor bowl, combine avocados, onion, peppers, garlic, lime juice and salt.

Cover and blend or process until nearly smooth, stopping and scraping sides as necessary.

Transfer mixture to a bowl. Cover with plastic directly touching the surface to prevent darkening. Chill for up to 24 hours.

Makes about 1-3/4 cups.
