Ingredients:
- 4 - Boneless Prime or Natural beef strip steaks 3/4 to 1 in. thick
- 1/4 cups - Olive oil
- - Salt, to taste
- - Coarse ground black pepper, to taste
- - Italian-blend seasoning, to taste
- 2 whole - Lemons Cut into wedges
Directions:
1. Heat charcoal 30 min until covered with a light layer of gray ash or heat gas grill on High 10 min w/ lid closed.
2. Pat steaks dry w/ a paper towel. Coat both sides of steaks w/ olive oil.
3. Grill steaks 4 in. above Medium heat. (375 deg surface temperature). Cook steaks 6 to 8 min. per side. Season the cooked side w/ salt, pepper & any other desired seasoning after turning. Remove from heat when a meat thermometer inserted horizontally into the center of the steaks read 140 deg for Medium-Rare or 150 deg for Medium. Season second side after removing from grill.
4. Serve steaks at once garnished w/ lemon wedges. Squeeze lemon juice over steaks and enjoy!
5. Serve w/ Bacon and Blue Cheese Potato Salad.
