Grilled Brisket

Ingredients:

  1. - 5-7 lb. beef brisket
  2. - Seasonings, to your taste

Directions:

GRILL METHOD:
1. Heat grill to low heat.
2. Place brisket over direct heat for 30 min. per side.
3. Move brisket to indirect heat or side of grill and cook 2 hours, turning over every 20 min.
4. Place brisket, fat-side up, on a large shet of heavy-duty foil, seal tightly and cook over indirect heat for 2 hrs. or until internal temperature reaches 170 and brisket is tender.
5. Let brisket sit for 15 min. before slicing.

OVEN METHOD:
1. Heat oven to 350.
2. Line a large roasting pan w/ heavy duty foil.
3. Place brisket, fat-side up, in roasting pan and bake uncovered for 1 hour.
4, Cover brisket w/ foil and bake 2 more hours or until internal temperature reaches 170 and brisket is tender.
5. Let brisket sit for 15 min. before slicing.

TO SERVE:
Slice brisket thinly against the grain.
