Ingredients:
- 3 pounds - stewing beef
- 1/2 cups - margarine
- 2 1/2 - small onion peeled
- 6 ounces - tomato paste
- 1/3 cups - red table wine
- 2 tablespoons - red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoons - brown sugar
- 1 - clove garlic
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 - cinnamon stick
- 1/2 teaspoons - whole cloves
- 1/4 teaspoons - cumin
- 2 tablespoons - raisins
- 3 pounds - stewing beef
- 1/2 cups - margarine
- 2 1/2 - small onion peeled
- 6 ounces - tomato paste
- 1/3 cups - red table wine
- 2 tablespoons - red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoons - brown sugar
- 1 - clove garlic
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1 - cinnamon stick
- 1/2 teaspoons - whole cloves
- 1/4 teaspoons - cumin
- 2 tablespoons - raisins
Directions:
1. Use dutch oven.
2. Season and coat meat with margarine. Do not brown, add onions.
3. Mix other ingredients, pour over meat, cover and simmer 3 hours.
4. Do not stir.
5. Serve with sesame bread and salad.
