Ingredients:

  1. 3 pounds - stewing beef
  2. 1/2 cups - margarine
  3. 2 1/2 - small onion peeled
  4. 6 ounces - tomato paste
  5. 1/3 cups - red table wine
  6. 2 tablespoons - red wine vinegar
  7. 1 tablespoons - brown sugar
  8. 1 - clove garlic
  9. 1 - bay leaf
  10. 1 - cinnamon stick
  11. 1/2 teaspoons - whole cloves
  12. 1/4 teaspoons - cumin
  13. 2 tablespoons - raisins
  14. 3 pounds - stewing beef
  15. 1/2 cups - margarine
  16. 2 1/2 - small onion peeled
  17. 6 ounces - tomato paste
  18. 1/3 cups - red table wine
  19. 2 tablespoons - red wine vinegar
  20. 1 tablespoons - brown sugar
  21. 1 - clove garlic
  22. 1 - bay leaf
  23. 1 - cinnamon stick
  24. 1/2 teaspoons - whole cloves
  25. 1/4 teaspoons - cumin
  26. 2 tablespoons - raisins

Directions:

1. Use dutch oven.
2. Season and coat meat with margarine. Do not brown, add onions.
3. Mix other ingredients, pour over meat, cover and simmer 3 hours.
4. Do not stir.
5. Serve with sesame bread and salad.
