Great Grandmother’s Fudge

Ingredients:

  1. 3 cups - sugar
  2. 1 cans - Carnation milk (evaporated milk)
  3. 3 tablespoons - cocoa heaping tablespoons
  4. 1 teaspoons - to 2 teaspoons vanilla
  5. 1/4 cups - peanut butter
  6. 1 sticks - real butter

Directions:

Combine sugar, cocoa and milk and stir together in a heavy pan. Let it come to a boil, and cook until it reaches the soft ball stage.

Add peanut butter and vanilla and beat until no longer glossy or shiny.

Pour fudge into a well-greased (I use butter) 8-inch square pan and let set up.
