Grannie Annie's Almond Crunch Cookies

Ingredients:

  1. 1 - sleeve of club crackers
  2. 1 1/2 sticks - salted butter
  3. 2/3 cups - sugar
  4. 1/2 cups - sliced almonds

Directions:

Line a large non-stick cookie sheet (with a lip edge) with crackers. Melt butter and spoon evenly over crackers. Sprinkle evenly with sugar. Scatter almonds over top.
Bake 15-20 minutes in 350° F oven until lightly browned.
Remove crackers from pan to wax paper. Cool completely. Store tightly covered.
