Ingredients:
- 1/2 gallons - milk
- 1 cups - sugar
- 2 1/2 tablespoons - flour
- 4 - eggs
- - lump of butter
- 2 teaspoons - vanilla
- 1 pinchs - nutmeg
Directions:
Heat milk in a double boiler.
Mix sugar and flour in a bowl; add beaten eggs to sugar and flour mixture and mix all well.
Pour heated milk over egg mixture and return all to double boiler; cook until it thickens.
Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla, and nutmeg.
