Ingredients:
- 1 cups - margarine or butter
- 1/2 cups - shortening
- 2 cups - sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 4 cups - flour
- 1 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1 teaspoons - cream of tartar
- 2 teaspoons - vanilla
Directions:
Cream together butter, shortening and sugar until well blended.
Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar and mix until thoroughly combined.
Bake cookies on lightly greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees F for about 12 minutes.
