Ingredients:
- 1 cups - sugar
- 2 - eggs separated
- 1 cups - sweet condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons - flour
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 1 cups - pecans
- 1 cups - sweetened, cooked raisins
- 1 - lump of butter about the size of a walnut
- 1 teaspoons - vanilla
- - Baked pie crust
- - additional pecans for topping
Directions:
Stir together the sugar, egg yolks, sweet milk, flour and salt, and cook until mixture thickens.
After it thickens, stir in pecans, raisins, and lump of butter along with vanilla; stir well.
Pour into baked pie crust. Use the 2 eggs whites for the top of the pie (I'm guessing you make a meringue with it?).
Lay the additional pecans on top of the icing and brown in a slow oven.
