Grandma Anita’s Cranberry Sauce

  1. 2 packages - Fresh cranberries
  2. 3/4 cups - Orange Juice
  3. 1/2 cups - Brown sugar
  4. 15 ounces - Crushed pineapple


Wash berries in a colander
Dissolve sugar in orange juice
Bring sugar and OJ to a boil
Add berries
Bring to a boil; then turn down to medium heat and simmer for 8 minutes
Take off the heat and let cool for 1/2 hour
Transfer to a bowl; add pineapple and mix well.
Cool down for another 1/2 hour. Refrigerate for at least two hours (or overnight)
