Gourmet Burgers with Pasilla de Oaxaca Chile Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. 2 whole - Gourmet Prime 1 Burgers
  2. 2 tablespoons - Canola or vegetable oil
  3. slices - 2-4 slices of Pepper Jack cheese
  4. 2 whole - Onion rolls Sliced in half, toasted
  5. cups - 1/4-1/2 C Pasilla de Oaxaca Chile Sauce
  6. - Burger toppings-tomato, lettuce, onion, etc.

Directions:

Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Add in the oil and heat for 1 min. Add the burger patties and cook on each side for 4-5 min. (Cooking time depends on the doneness you prefer.)

While the burgers are cooking, toast the onion rolls. Spread a thin layer of the Pasilla de Oaxaca Chile Sauce onto the onion rolls and then add your toppings.

Finish with the cooked burgers and cheese.
