Ingredients:

  1. 1 tablespoons - vegetable oil
  2. 2 pounds - Lean, boned bottom round roast cut into 1-inch cubes
  3. 2 cups - plum tomatoes diced
  4. 1 1/2 cups - red onion vertically sliced
  5. 1 cups - green bell pepper diced
  6. 1 cloves - garlic minced
  7. 2 cups - red potatoes peeled, cubed
  8. 1/3 cups - red wine
  9. 1/4 cups - water
  10. 1 tablespoons - lemon juice fresh
  11. 1 1/2 teaspoons - paprika
  12. 1 teaspoons - caraway seeds
  13. 1 teaspoons - marjoram dried
  14. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  15. 1/2 teaspoons - pepper
  16. - beef broth

Directions:

Heat oil in a dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add beef, browning on all sides. Remove from pan. Add tomato, onion, bell pepper, and garlic - sautee for 10 minutes. Return beef to pan and stir in potatoes and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until beef is tender.
