Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups - raisins
  2. 1 cups - citron peel
  3. 1 cups - lemon peel
  4. 1 cups - orange peel
  5. 1/2 cups - preserved pineapple
  6. 1/2 cups - cherries cut
  7. 1 cups - figs cut
  8. 1 cups - dates
  9. 1/2 cups - currants
  10. 1 cups - nuts
  11. 4 cups - flour sifted
  12. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  13. 2 teaspoons - baking powder
  14. 1 cups - butter or margarine
  15. 2 cups - white sugar
  16. 6 - eggs
  17. 1 teaspoons - lemon or orange extract
  18. 1 cups - sherry or orange juice
  19. 2 cups - raisins

  22. 1 cups - orange peel
  23. 1/2 cups - preserved pineapple
  24. 1/2 cups - cherries cut
  25. 1 cups - figs cut
  26. 1 cups - dates
  27. 1/2 cups - currants
  28. 1 cups - nuts
  29. 4 cups - flour sifted
  30. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  31. 2 teaspoons - baking powder
  32. 1 cups - butter or margarine
  33. 2 cups - white sugar
  34. 6 - eggs
  35. 1 teaspoons - lemon or orange extract
  36. 1 cups - sherry or orange juice

Directions:

1. Line a 4" x 10" tube pan with aluminum foil.
2. Put fruits and nuts in a large bowl. Sift over flour, salt, baking powder. Toss lightly.
3. In another bowl, cream butter, sugar, eggs and extract until very light and fluffy.
4. Stir in fruit and mix altogether with sherry just until mixed.
5. Bake for 3 hours at 300°.
