Ingredients:
- 2 cups - raisins
- 1 cups - citron peel
- 1 cups - lemon peel
- 1 cups - orange peel
- 1/2 cups - preserved pineapple
- 1/2 cups - cherries cut
- 1 cups - figs cut
- 1 cups - dates
- 1/2 cups - currants
- 1 cups - nuts
- 4 cups - flour sifted
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 2 teaspoons - baking powder
- 1 cups - butter or margarine
- 2 cups - white sugar
- 6 - eggs
- 1 teaspoons - lemon or orange extract
- 1 cups - sherry or orange juice
- 2 cups - raisins
- 1 cups - citron peel
- 1 cups - lemon peel
- 1 cups - orange peel
- 1/2 cups - preserved pineapple
- 1/2 cups - cherries cut
- 1 cups - figs cut
- 1 cups - dates
- 1/2 cups - currants
- 1 cups - nuts
- 4 cups - flour sifted
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 2 teaspoons - baking powder
- 1 cups - butter or margarine
- 2 cups - white sugar
- 6 - eggs
- 1 teaspoons - lemon or orange extract
- 1 cups - sherry or orange juice
Directions:
1. Line a 4" x 10" tube pan with aluminum foil.
2. Put fruits and nuts in a large bowl. Sift over flour, salt, baking powder. Toss lightly.
3. In another bowl, cream butter, sugar, eggs and extract until very light and fluffy.
4. Stir in fruit and mix altogether with sherry just until mixed.
5. Bake for 3 hours at 300°.
