Golden Eggnog Mix

Ingredients:

  1. 6 - Eggs Separated
  2. 3/4 cups - Sugar
  3. 1 quarts - Milk
  4. 1 tablespoons - Vanilla
  5. 1 pints - Heavy Cream
  6. - Nutmeg To Taste

  8. 3/4 cups - Sugar
  9. 1 quarts - Milk
  10. 1 tablespoons - Vanilla
  11. 1 pints - Heavy Cream
  12. - Nutmeg To Taste

Directions:

Separate egg whites in a bowl large enough to triple in size, once beaten. About 2Qt bowl if making a single batch. Place egg yolks in a 2C, steep-sided bowl. Beat yolks until thick, they will turn a pastel yellow. Wash beaters after yolks beaten, before beating whites. Beat whites until very foamy/stiff. Gradually beat in sugar, until soft shiny peaks. Transfer whites to 4Qt bowl and fold in yolks. Whip the cream in separate bowl. (do not whip so much that it turns to butter). Mix milk and vanilla together, then slowly stir into egg mixture. Place dollops of whipped cream on top of the egg cream mixture and gently fold in. Serve in chilled bowl, sprinkle with nutmeg. Enjoy!
