Ingredients:
- 7 slices - bacon diced
- 2 cloves - garlic minced
- 8 ounces - cream cheese at room temperature
- 1/4 cups - half and half
- 4 ounces - bleu cheese crumbled
- 2 tablespoons - chopped fresh chives
- 3 tablespoons - chopped smoked almonds (about 1 ounce)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cook bacon in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat until almost crisp; add garlic and cook until bacon is crisp. Drain on paper towel.
Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth; add half and half and beat until combined. Stir in bacon mixture, bleu cheese and chives.
Transfer to 2-cup baking dish; cover with foil. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Sprinkle with chopped almonds. Serve with crackers or vegetables.
