Gluten-free, Dairy-free Almond Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - unsalted almond butter, stirred well
  2. 3/4 cups - Turbinado sugar
  3. 1 - large egg
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - sea salt
  6. 3 ounces - dark chocolate (70% cocoa or greater) broken into small pieces

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. In a medium bowl, stir together first 5 ingredients until blended. Stir in chocolate.

3. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto parchment-lined baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.

4. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes. Remove to a wire rack and let cool for 15 more minutes.
