Ingredients:
- 6 - eggs
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 3 cups - cooked rice (3/4 cups uncooked)
- 3 tablespoons - oil
- 1/4 cups - cooked shrimp OR 1 cup ham diced
- 1 - scallion minced
- 1/2 cups - bean sprouts
- 6 - to 8 water chestnuts
- 1/4 teaspoons - MSG
- 1/8 teaspoons - pepper
- dashes - garlic salt optional
- - soy sauce to taste
Directions:
Heat skillet or wok to medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon oil and eggs. Scramble until quite dry. Remove from skillet; cool, shred.
Clean pan and heat to medium hot again. Add the other tablespoon of oil. Add rice, shrimp or ham, scallion, MSG, pepper and eggs (and garlic salt, if using). Stir fry for 3 minutes or until hot. Add soy sauce.
