Ingredients:

  1. 2 pounds - okra cut into rounds
  2. 1/2 cups - cornmeal
  3. 1 cups - flour
  4. 1 teaspoons - baking powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  6. 1 tablespoons - oil
  7. 1 cups - beer
  8. - vegetable oil for frying

Directions:

Combine okra, cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add oil and beer and stir until smooth.

Fry in 2 inches of oil; drain on paper towels.
