French Pudding Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 5 - egg whites
  2. 1 1/2 cups - sugar
  3. 30 - soda crackers rolled fine
  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons - vinegar
  6. 1 cups - chopped pecans
  7. 2 envelopes - Dream Whip
  8. 1 packages - 3 oz. cream cheese
  9. 1/2 cups - powdered sugar
  10. 1 cans - cherry or blueberry pie filling

Directions:

Crust:
Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold remaining crust ingredients into beaten egg whites. Pour into buttered and floured 9-x-13-inch pan. Bake at 300 degrees F for 25 minutes. Cool.

Filling:
Whip Dream Whip according to package directions. Add cream cheese and powdered sugar; you may have to add a drop or two of milk to make it smooth. Spread over baked crust.

Cover cake with a can of cherry or blueberry pie filling. Refrigerate.

Can be made 24 hours before serving.
