Fourteen Day Slaw

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cups - white vinegar
  2. 1/2 cups - water
  3. 1 1/2 cups - sugar
  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons - celery seed
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - turmeric
  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons - mustard seed
  8. 1 - carrot finely shredded
  9. 1/2 - Spanish onion chopped
  10. 1 - green cabbage shredded
  11. 1/2 cups - pimento stuffed olives optional
  12. 1 1/2 cups - white vinegar
  13. 1/2 cups - water
  14. 1 1/2 cups - sugar
  15. 1 1/2 teaspoons - celery seed
  16. 1/2 teaspoons - turmeric
  17. 1 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  18. 1 1/2 teaspoons - mustard seed
  19. 1 - carrot finely shredded
  20. 1/2 - Spanish onion chopped
  21. 1 - green cabbage shredded
  22. 1/2 cups - pimento stuffed olives optional

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients in Mixture 1 in saucepan and bring to a boil. Cool.
2. Combine all ingredients in Mixture 2.
3. Combine Mixture 1 with Mixture 2 and mix well.
4. Store in covered glass jar in refrigerator for 12 hours before using.
5. Keeps for a LONG time.
