Fig Strawberry Preserves

Ingredients:

  1. 3 cups - (about 20 medium) mashed figs
  2. 6 ounces - strawberry jell-o
  3. 3 cups - sugar
  4. 6 - medium glass jars
  5. - hot paraffin for canning

Directions:

Mix together the mashed figs, strawberry jello and sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pour quickly into canning jars; cover at once with 1/8 inch hot paraffin.
