Egg in the Middle of Toast

Use a cookie cutter to cut the center of the bread. Melt butter in a frying pan. Place bread in flat bottom of frying pan (2 slices at once, if the pan is large enough), and break the egg in the center of the bread (hole cut out previously). Add salt and pepper to taste. When the bottom of the egg seems firm and the toast is light brown, flip and cook the other side. Toast the centers in the pan as well.
