Easy Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients:

  1. 1 - pastry shell
  2. 12 slices - bacon cooked crisp, chopped
  3. 1 cups - grated Swiss cheese or aged cheddar
  4. 1 - onion chopped
  5. 4 - eggs
  6. 2 cups - light cream
  7. - salt
  8. - sugar
  9. - cayenne pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion into unbaked pastry shell.

Mix together eggs, cream, salt, sugar and cayenne pepper and ladle into the pastry shell.

Bake 15 minutes in preheated oven.

Reduce heat to 300 degrees F and cook an additional 30 minutes or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.

Allow quiche to cool for 10 minutes before cutting into wedges.
