Easy Cherry Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 1 packages - yellow cake mix . pudding type
  2. - oil and eggs as called for on cake mix package
  3. 1/2 cups - water
  4. 21 ounces - cherry pie filling
  5. - powdered sugar, sifted

Directions:

Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using oil or butter and eggs, and reducing the water to 1/2 cup.

Spread batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

Spoon cherry pie filling evenly over the batter, then swirl into the batter just enough to give a marbled effect.

Bake cake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes, until cake bounces back when lightly touched.

Cool and sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
