Notes:
If using frozen broccoli florets, heat in microwave for 2 minutes and then chop before stir-frying. Use quick-cook brown rice and cook in beef broth while preparing stir-fry. Optional add-ins: mushrooms, onions, peppers.

Ingredients:
- 4 cups - broccoli florets
- 1 - small carrot peeled, diced or sliced
- 1/3 cups - soy sauce
- 1 tablespoons - Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons - ground ginger optional
- 1/4 teaspoons - red pepper flakes optional
- - hot cooked rice for serving over
- 3 tablespoons - cornstarch divided
- 1/2 cups - water plus more as needed
- 2 tablespoons - water divided
- 1/2 teaspoons - garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoons - onion powder
- 1 pounds - round steak or chuck steak (or buy pre-sliced stir-fry beef strips) cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons - coconut oil divided
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 2 tablespoons water, onion powder and garlic powder until smooth. Add beef and toss; let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, stir-fry beef in about 1 tablespoon oil until beef is mostly cooked through; remove and keep warm.
In same skillet, stir-fry broccoli and carrots in remaining oil for 4-5 minutes. Return beef to pan with vegetables.
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire, red pepper flakes, ginger and remaining cornstarch and water until smooth; add to the pan.
Cook and stir for 2-5 minutes. Serve over cooked white or brown rice.
