Easy Beef And Broccoli Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  1. 4 cups - broccoli florets
  2. 1 - small carrot peeled, diced or sliced
  3. 1/3 cups - soy sauce
  4. 1 tablespoons - Worcestershire sauce
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - ground ginger optional
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - red pepper flakes optional
  7. - hot cooked rice for serving over
  8. 3 tablespoons - cornstarch divided
  9. 1/2 cups - water plus more as needed
  10. 2 tablespoons - water divided
  11. 1/2 teaspoons - garlic powder
  12. 1/2 teaspoons - onion powder
  13. 1 pounds - round steak or chuck steak (or buy pre-sliced stir-fry beef strips) cut into thin strips
  14. 2 tablespoons - coconut oil divided

Directions:

In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 2 tablespoons water, onion powder and garlic powder until smooth. Add beef and toss; let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, stir-fry beef in about 1 tablespoon oil until beef is mostly cooked through; remove and keep warm.

In same skillet, stir-fry broccoli and carrots in remaining oil for 4-5 minutes. Return beef to pan with vegetables.

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire, red pepper flakes, ginger and remaining cornstarch and water until smooth; add to the pan.

Cook and stir for 2-5 minutes. Serve over cooked white or brown rice.
