Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups - flour
  2. 1 tablespoons - baking powder
  3. 2 teaspoons - sugar
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - cream of tartar
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  6. 1/2 cups - shortening, margarine or butter
  7. 1 cups - milk

Directions:

Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cream of tartar. Cut in shortening, margarine or butter until crumb-like consistency is reached. Add milk all at once and stir well. Drop dough from a spoon onto baking sheet (greased). Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes or til lightly browned. Makes 10-12.
